Boy George has been showing off his dramatic weight loss to widespread compliments.
But Matt Endersby, who works as an impersonator of the 1980s pop icon, won't be going on a diet any time soon.
The 45-year-old, from Milstead in Swale, was lounging around a hotel pool when he saw the images of the Karma Chameleon star in a national newspaper.
The photos showed Boy George - real name George O'Dowd - boasting a slim, chiselled face... a far cry from his bloated former self.
Married father-of-two Matt said: "I did get a bit panicky about it to start with. People messaged me saying, 'Have you seen him, are you going on a diet?'.
"I even sent Boy George a text message saying, 'Thanks mate, now I'll have to go on a diet'. He texted me back saying, 'No, now you'll have to be the fat one'.
"It's not prompted me to go on a diet. There's not many places you can grab a healthy salad at 3am when you're out in London.
"I'm going to be the fat Boy George. People say I look more like him now because his face is thinner.
"I don't think it will make a great deal of difference to what I do because I get asked to do a lot of Boy George from the 80s and he didn't look like he does now, then.
"I supposes if it did start to affect my bookings then I'd have to think about going on a diet though."
