X-Factor wannabes and The Voice hopefuls are being asked to warm up their vocal chords and get ready to sing their hearts out for a chance to win a trip to Hollywood.
The Mecca Bingo Star Search auditions have kicked off across the country and the Sittingbourne branch of the gambling company is set to welcome another slew of aspiring singing professionals in its second round of try-outs this weekend.
Contestants are being asked to attend one of two audition dates this month, which could lead to regional heats and a chance to perform at a star-studded grand final in Blackpool that will be hosted by 2009/2010 X-Factor finalist Stacey Solomon.
The winner will then jet off with a guest to Los Angeles, armed with £2,000 spending money for a luxurious stay at a top Beverley Hills hotel.
Sittingbourne Mecca club manager Lisa Farrelly said: “We are incredibly excited about the Mecca Star Search competition.
“We have had some fantastic entries so far, and – with two more audition dates yet to come – it will be great to see what other talent the town has to offer.”
Entrants can select a backing track to accompany them, and all performances will be filmed to be uploaded online to the Mecca Facebook page for people to vote for their favourites.
Alternatively, you can enter the competition online via www.facebook.com/MeccaBingo, where you can upload your performance video. You must be 18 or over to enter, and the competition closes on February 22.
The remaining Sittingbourne audition dates are: tomorrow, and Thursday February 19, both at 4pm.
