The campaign to 'light up the coast' for missing Lucas Dobson has started at coastal towns across the county.
The six-year-old from Deal fell into the River Stour in Sandwich after trying to step from the jetty on to a boat on Saturday.
Three adults jumped in after him but the current was too strong and they were unable to find him.

Hundreds of people have been helping fire fighters, police officers and the coastguard with the search.
Now, well-wishers have arranged number of candlelit vigils on beaches and at other locations across the county.
Many started at 6.30pm and already hundreds of people have turned out at various locations to show their support.
A 'Light up the coast for Lucas' event page was on Facebook and it is hoped the #LightuptheCoastforLucas gets trending on Twitter.
Charlotte Hayes, from Sittingbourne, saw the page and got the word out for people to get involved.
Ms Hayes a mother-of-two said: "It's a way of showing support, at a very sad time, for Lucas and his family and send out the message that we won't give up looking for Lucas and thinking of him and his family."
A number of candlelit vigils started at 6.30pm tonight, where people were urged to wear red, said to be Lucas' favourite colour.
They include:
Deal Pier
Herne Bay clock tower
Aylesham's market square
The beach steps near the Turner Contemporary in Margate
Ramsgate beach
Kearsney Abbey, Alkham Road, near Dover
Dover seafront
Westgate Gardens in Canterbury (by Umbrella Club)
Behind B&M, Wincheap, Canterbury
Sunny Sands, Folkestone
Sandwich Quay
St Mary's Church, Sandwich (8pm)
Miss Hayes is also hoping gatherings will happen at Minster Leas, on Sheppey, Sheerness Beach and Sittingbourne's Milton Creek Country Park.
Lucas' family including his mum, were at the 6.30pm vigil in Deal and intend to be at the 8pm gathering in Sandwich.
Meanwhile, St Mary’s Art Centre has announced it will not open as a hub for volunteers helping in the search for Lucas tomorrow.
The church in Strand Street, Sandwich, has been a centre point for people, offering refreshments and toilet facilities for two full days.
But organisers say the space is booked for other activities.
Main organiser Ann-Marie Huigen said: “I’d like to say thank you to all the volunteers and people who donated their time and food at this sad time.
"It just shows that the community spirit in Sandwich is alive and strong.”
The centre will close at 10pm tonight after the vigil, with leftover food and drink being transported to St Peter’s Church.
