A car has crashed into flats off Woodberry Drive, Sittingbourne.

Police and ambulance crews were called after the accident at about 4.30pm.

A police spokesman said people had been injured after two cars, one of which is a taxi, had been involved in the crash.

One of the cars, a silver Renault Megane, is understood to have crashed into Ash Tree House.

Police remain at the scene while they wait for the vehicles to be recovered.

Three people, all believed to be from the same vehicle, have been taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
