Traffic has cleared after a crash involving a car and recovery vehicle on the M2 this morning.

All lanes are now open after reports debris was spread across all three lanes near J5 for Maidstone, Sittingbourne and the Stockbury roundabout.

The accident happened just after the A249 turn-off London-bound.

All the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and recovered.
