Fifteen young cherry trees have been stolen from an orchard in Bapchild,
The trees worth £90, were taken from Hempstead Farm, in Hempstead Lane, sometime overnight between February 9 and 10.
Only planted about six weeks ago, the trees are about 3ft high and are identifiable by yellow paint on their trunks.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen the thefts taking place, anyone who has been offered a cherry tree for sale or any newly planted cherry trees in the area.
