A young passenger has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Sittingbourne.

Officers from the police's serious collision investigation unit were called after the crash on Staplehurst Road at 3.50pm.

The child who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed while officers investigated.
