KENT Police are appealing for help to trace a young man missing from home. Andrew Owen, 24, from Sittingbourne, was last seen on January 12 in the town's high street.

Mr Owen has short brown hair, blue eyes and is 5ft 6inch tall and of average build. When he vanished he was wearing a dark grey duffle coat, black jeans, a white Adidas or Umbro zip jacket with red piping and red motif.

He was also wearing white Adidas trainers with blue or black stripes. He usually wears a silver-coloured watch on his left wrist.

Det Insp Paul Cordier said: "We are concerned about Andrew's welfare and would like him to make contact. His mother wants Andrew to get in touch so she knows he is safe and well."
