Couple uncover huge Bronze Age hoard

THE Sittingbourne couple who unearthed more than 300 Iron Age coins say it was the first time they'd ever scoured a field.

Metal detector enthusiasts Peter and Christine Johnson uncovered the hoard in a field near Maidstone.
