A crash involving four vehicles caused delays on the M2 this morning.

The London-bound carriageway was blocked after the incident between junction 4 and 5 for the A249 (Sittingbourne/ Stockbury Roundabout).

Officers were called to the motorway just after 8.30am today (March 20).

A police spokesperson said: “Patrols and highways officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported and the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.”

Traffic reporting tool, Inrix, warned of long delays due to the incident.

The road had cleared by 10.30am.
