Different cultures will be celebrated with a day of music, dance, art and storytelling.
The Swale Celebration of Cultures Festival is in its third year and will be held on Saturday, October 31.
The free multicultural event will be at Wyvern Hall in Central Avenue, Sittingbourne, from 10am-4pm.
Mayor of Swale Adrian Crowther will open the celebrations with The New Covenant Gospel Choir, from Kemsley, at 10am.
And there will be a grand parade from the High Street, to Wyvern Hall at 11am.
The programme is packed with exciting and lively acts that depict many of the diverse cultures in Swale.
Schools from around the borough will be taking part and there will be activities for all age groups.
Sioux Peto, event co-ordinator, said: “Swale is a caring, sharing great place to be. The people here are what it’s all about.
“We have so many diverse groups doing their own thing. This festival is about bringing them together, showcasing them, learning from them and enjoying the company and culture of our neighbours.
“It will be just what Swale needs – a giant party to free your mind and body of the troubles of everyday life. Just come and enjoy it.”
The festival is a working partnership between Diversity House and Kent County Council, Swale Borough Council, Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, SoundArt, The Swale Arts Forum, GrassRoots, Vinvolved and Sheppey Matters.
