A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a bicycle.

It happened in St Michael's Road, Sittingbourne, near the bus stop by The Forum Shopping Centre.

Police and ambulance crews were called at 11.15am and a woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Eyewitnesses said the woman was standing but unable to bear weight on her leg.

Arriva Buses had to divert routes 347, 349, 333 and 334 whilst emergency services were there.

Routes are now back to normal.
