A Sittingbourne father will go on trial next year accused of wounding two people in a late night incident.
Thomas Wheeler, from West Street, has pleaded not guilty to wounding Ben Lawson and Sammy Jo Harden with intent on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.
The 25-year-old also denies affray and possessing a knife near his home.
Wheeler, who appeared at Maidstone Crown Court by prison video link from HMP Elmley, on Sheppey, was arrested following a reported disturbance near his flat.
He broke down crying as defence barrister Lucy Luttman asked for bail until the trial on Monday, February 17.
Judge David Griffith-Jones QC ruled that Wheeler should be released on condition he stay at an address in Rectory Road, Sittingbourne, and remained there between 8pm and 6am each night.
Wheeler is expected to claim self-defence during his trial which is expected to last for four days.
