Commuters faced delays on their journey to work after a three-vehicle accident on a motorway.

Kent Police were called to the London bound carriageway of the M2 between junctions 5 and 4 at 8.39am.

Two ambulances were also seen heading towards the scene

One lane was blocked but all lanes have been reopened.

No injuries were believed to have been reported and the incident was dealt with by around 9am.

Traffic has returned to normal.
