Delays built up and a road was blocked earlier after a crash.

The accident affected the A2 at Fox Hill in both directions near School Lane.

Police were called at 5.36pm to a two-vehicle crash involving a silver Land Rover Discovery and a tractor.

The driver of the Land Rover was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.

The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident. One lane had re-opened by 6.33pm and the road was fully open by 7.40pm.
