There were lengthy queues this evening after a motorway pile-up.
Four vehicles collided on the coast-bound M2 between junction 5 for Sittingbourne and 6 Faversham just before 5pm.
Emergency services including police were called to the scene.
At one point traffic stretched back to junction 4 for Gillingham.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.45pm on 3 August to the M2 coastbound between junction 5 and 6 to reports of a four vehicle collision.
"One of the lanes is partially blocked as a result of the collision but no injuries have been reported at this time. Officers are on scene."
All lanes reopened just after 5.30pm but lengthy tailbacks remained until about 6.30pm.
