Drivers faced delays on the road this morning after a car overturned on the M2.

The incident happened on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 6 near Sittingbourne and Faversham.

Police were called at around 8.30am following reports a car had overturned.

Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported.

One lane was closed but traffic is now said to be coping well.

Highways crews remain at the scene to arrange recovery of the vehicle.
