POLICE have arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of the murder of Francis Foord who died following an incident in Eastwood Road, Sittingbourne, last weekend.

The man was arrested at an address in Sittingbourne shortly after 9pm last night and is being questioned by detectives.

Mr Foord, 34, of Cherry Close, Sittingbourne, was found lying in a pool of blood just before midnight last Friday evening. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
