'Drink driver' arrested after car ends up in ditch near Sittingbourne

A driver has been arrested by police after a car crashed off the road.

The silver BMW ended up at a precarious angle on a grass bank at the entrance to Kemsley Railway Station off Grovehurst Road near Sittingbourne.

Kent Police tweeted to say the driver would be spending New Year's Day in custody.

They were detained on suspicion of driving while unfit and possession of drugs.
