Police are at the scene of a two-car collision where it is believed both drivers fled.

Officers were called to Grovehurst Avenue, Kemsley, Sittingbourne, at 4.09pm.

They discovered a badly-damaged silver car and blue Renault van.

A police spokesman said: "Enquiries are on-going into the circumstances surrounding the incident."

Nearby resident Graham Collins said the cars in the middle of the road were causing problems with traffic, especially buses on the 247 route.

He added that he'd heard the people involved in the crash had left the scene shortly afterwards.
