Police have released an efit of a 'suspicious' man who approached a young girl in a graveyard in Milton Regis.

The 12-year-old was walking through the grounds of Holy Trinity Church, off Green Porch Close, when the man came up to her and reached out towards her arm. The girl ran off.

It happened at about 7.10am on Tuesday, January 5 and now detectives are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who recognises the man they say was acting suspiciously to come forward.

He is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, and about 6ft. He was of large build and had a beard. He was wearing a black hoody, jogging bottoms and woolly hat.
