Drivers in Sittingbourne face even more delays today.

Temporary traffic lights have been installed in Park Road at its junction with West Street for UK Power Networks to carry out electrical work.

Kent Highways has warned: "Expect delays in the area."

The announcement was made just before 7am today.

The town is already suffering traffic delays caused by the closure of Chalkwell Road.
