A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the M20 with a Jaguar this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the silver Honda CBR bike crashed with the blue S Type Jaguar just after junction 5 at around 5.30am.

The motorcyclist died of his injuries.

The coastbound carriageway has been closed and traffic is being diverted over junction 5 onto the A20 through Maidstone.

Police are warning of serious delays in the Maidstone area due to the smash.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out an investigation, and anyone who saw the collision just before is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
