A frantic family has appealed for help to find their missing cockatiel.
Milo, who likes whistling the theme tunes to The Addams Family and The Great Escape, made his own break for freedom from his home in Sittingbourne on September 21.
Owner Julie Trout said: "We are desperate. We have had no luck finding him after putting up links on social media.
"He is a much-loved and missed talking and singing cockatiel who is super friendly and loves to be around humans.
"We are increasingly worried as the weather is getting colder and wetter. He is not an outdoor animal, he is very much an indoor bird.
"Please help spread the word and hopefully get him home where he belongs. We all miss him desperately."
Milo normally lives with Julie, her husband Marc and their three teenage sons aged 15, 17 and 19 in Newlands Avenue.
'His favourite song is The Great Escape'
The bird escaped by flying out the back door after the family's dog opened the door to the front room where Milo was allowed to fly freely.
Julie said: "He is very talkative and will ask 'what ya doing?' He says 'hello' and 'Milo is a good boy!' His favourite songs to whistle are from the movies The Addams Family and, ironically, The Great Escape!"
Over the weekend there were sightings of what could be the missing Milo in the School Lane area of Bapchild.
