POLICE are appealing to customers at a pub to come forward if they have information about a fight which left a 33-year-old man with serious injuries.
The man was kicked in the face during the incident in Sittingbourne, on Saturday, April 8, between 11.20pm and 11.40pm.
Police say they received reports of a fight between two men which had started inside the Red Lion public house.
The fight then continued outside of the Natwest Bank at the junction of Central Avenue and the high street.
A police spokesman said: "As the fight continued outside of the bank, the 33-year old man was kicked in the face leaving him with serious injuries.
PC Chris Watson said: “This attack has left a young man seriously injured. I am keen to speak with any customers of the Red Lion public house who may have witnessed the fight and anyone who may have witnessed the subsequent assault outside the Natwest bank.”
He added: “Incidents of this type in Swale are rare and will not be tolerated. We urge anyone who may have any information to contact officers at Sittingbourne Police station so that we can find those responsible.”
