Fire at derelict building in Cooks Lane, Sittingbourne

Fire crews tackled a rubbish blaze in a derelict building in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters were called to Cooks Lane in Sittingbourne at around 1.35am to reports of a fire in a derelict building.

They found a large amount of rubbish alight, which they put out by 2.20am.

They then damped down and left the scene by 3am.
