There's been a crash close to a busy roundabout this afternoon.

At least four vehicles were reported to have been involved in the collision, close to the Stockbury roundabout at junction 5 of the M2 around 4.15pm.

The Maidstone-bound carriageway of the A249 was partly blocked as a result, and long delays built up. They have now cleared.

Travel time between the A2 Keycol Street and the M2 junction 5 reached 30 minutes around 5pm.

A police spokesman confirmed there were no serious injuries.
