A fresh witness appeal has been launched by Swale police in relation to an alley attack which happened in Sittingbourne towards the end of last year.

Two men, both from the Sittingbourne area, were allegedly assaulted by a group of four men and three women in alleyway between Capel Road and Roonagh Court sometime between 1.30am and 2.30am on Saturday, October 10, 2009.

One of the victims - a 44-year-old, suffered a fractured skull in the assault.

Police are also keen to trace a dark-coloured Ford Escort that was seen parked in Capel Road.
