A Pirates and Princesses party raised more than £200 for charity.
About 30 children dressed in buccaneer regalia and fairy tale dresses for the fundraiser held at Sittingbourne Community College (SCC).
It was organised by Sittingbourne carer, Lisa Jury, who was recently named Beauty of Kent.
Lisa is due to travel to the UK finals in Preston next month, and as part of the entry process, she was tasked with arranging a charity event.
A bouncy castle, glitter tattoos and a lucky dip were among attractions for youngsters at SCC, which helped raise £215 for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity.
Lisa said: “I was a bit nervous at first because I had to organise everything myself.
“But the party went really well and everyone seemed to have a good time.”
