Sittingbourne boss Gary Abbott is waiting to find out if defender Shaun Raggett will be available for the Ryman League, Division 1 South trip to Whyteleafe on Saturday.
The 16-year-old Academy graduate at Dover made an impressive debut in last week’s home defeat by leaders Leatherhead but was unavailable for the 2-0 Tuesday night win over Whitstable at Bourne Park because of a trial with Crystal Palace.
Abbott (pictured) said: "He is already 6ft 5in tall. He is two-footed and gets his head in there in both boxes. A lot of big clubs are looking at him and he looks to have a bright future."
Substitute Jaie Nuttall scored his first goal for the club and Tom Bradbrook got the other against Whitstable, Paul Semakula seeing his first-half penalty saved by visiting keeper Shaun Smith.
The Bourne boss has been impressed with Semakula, who joined from Tonbridge.
He added: "He is only 21, but he is a fit boy and good on the ball. I want to keep him for the rest of the season."
Abbott is also looking for another striker to boost his options.
