Jokes of starting their own side could soon become a reality for one football team.
That's because seven Old Oak Reserves players have all fathered boys in just over a year.
The eldest is team captain Michael Singleton's 15-month-old Jack followed by Kieron Higginson's 11-month-old Freddie, Shaun Higginson's 10-and-a-half-month-old Harry, Jamie Harman's 10-month-old Colby, Neil Parker's seven-month-old Charlie, Gary Watkin's five-month-old Noah and Michael Gladman's one-month-old Logan.
The chain was broken when centre forward Daniel Coates became a dad to daughter Lola-Rose on August 31.
Now the team's hoping for four more new arrivals for a full side.
Jamie Harman, centre midfielder, said: "It started as a joke that we could start a five-a-side football team when the first boys were born then when the sixth and seventh came along we were like 'blimey we could soon have our own team'. People keep saying maybe we've got magic water bottles.
"There's no more pregnancies at the moment ..."
