THIS is the face of 15-year-old Emily Jane Major, missing from home since last Thursday.
There have been mounting concerns for her safety since she was last seen getting on a train in Sittingbourne on Thursday at 9.15am.
Emily, of Staplehurst Road, Sittingbourne, has not contacted her family since.
Police are investigating a possible sighting by a woman from London who was in Brighton on Monday.
She was approached by a girl matching Emily's description. The girl asked for money and said she was staying in a hostel.
Swale Police spokesman Sally Farrell said: "We would ask Emily to contact her parents or ourselves as soon as possible. Her parents are very worried about her as it is so out of character to not tell them where she is."
Poice are still studying CCTV footage both from the Victoria-bound train she is believed to have boarded and at stations to the capital.
Emily is 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in, solidly build with brown eyes and mid-length brown hair, possibly in plaits. She has a tattoo of the Sagitarius astrological sign on her right shoulder.
She was last seen wearing a red vest top, blue jeans, a studded black belt, green Doc Martens boots and lots of silver jewellery.
