Police are appealing for information after a car failed to stop and collided with a police vehicle.

At around 3.20am this morning, officers had requested the car to stop in Sittingbourne High Street following reports of speeding.

Police later found the car close to Panteny Lane in Bapchild, but the occupants had fled.

A police helicopter was used to help in the search for the suspects, but they are still at large.
