Lane two is now working on the A249 north-bound between the A2 Key Street and Bobbing.
It follows works to repair the water main and the huge chasm which opened up under the carriageway as a result.
Lane one is still shut, and traffic is still unable to leave the A249 northbound at Bobbing.
Vehicles can divert off the A249 at Key Street/A2, and then use the third exit to Sheppey Way to the Bobbing Roundabout.
Delays are still expected at peak times.
Meanwhile, businesses in the area have been counting the cost of the closure.
