After days of waiting the snow finally fell over Sittingbourne at the weekend.
Youngsters made the most of it by wrapping up warm and going outside to enjoy snowball fights and sledge rides.
This 7ft tall snowman was built by Tina Murton, her husband Leigh, their two children Phoebe 10 (left) and Rees 13 (front) and his friend Billy Smith, 13 (right) in the garden of their home in Vincent Road, Sittingbourne. Not wanting to miss out on the action, the family dog Dexter can also be seen in the photo.
Thanks to readers sending in their photos we’ve been able to put a three-page spread of pictures together showing how the land was transformed into a winter wonderland.
It will appear in tomorrow's Sittingbourne News Extra.
