A249 delays after crash between lorry and van on Maidstone-bound carriageway

A crash involving and lorry and van led to queuing traffic and rush-hour delays this morning.

The collision happened on the Maidstone-bound carriageway of the A249 near Stockbury by junction 5 of the M2.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene at 8.05am no injuries were reported."

The accident has now cleared.
