All lanes have reopened on the M2 after a lorry is believed to have ploughed through the central reservation.
The crash happened at about 12.45pm on the coastbound carriageway between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Maidstone and Junction 6 for Faversham.
A police spokesman said: "It was reported that a lorry had gone through the central reservation barrier before coming to a stop on the London-bound carriageway.
"The lorry has been located on the London-bound hard shoulder."
He said a rolling road block had to be enforced on the London-bound carriageway to allow the safe recovery of the lorry.
"At present, no injuries have been reported," he added.
