A lorry became stuck for several hours after going through a width restriction pinch-point designed to keep large vehicles out.
Police had to be called after the driver managed to wedge the HGV between bollards on Church Road in Murston, near Sittingbourne.
Over the years, numerous motorists have been caught out by the width restriction.
Countless vehicles have been scraped and scratched as they pass through - but sometimes the damage has been far worse.
In August 2022, an Asda van was pictured in a jam, which had resulted in a burst tyre.
More recently, a white Vauxhall was stuck for almost seven hours in the exact same place.
A Salvatori delivery truck then tried to pass the van but also got wedged in the process.
Raised kerbs and a traffic island make the route considerably narrower. It is designed to reduce speed and prevent larger vehicles, such as lorries, from using it.
Church Road runs alongside Eurolink Business Park, which is one of Kent’s largest industrial estates.
The latest driver to fall foul of the route was on Tuesday (January 14). The vehicle appears to have made it through one set of restrictions, by the junction with Sunny Bank.
However, the second set, which leads onto Dolphin Road, was the one that it was snagged on.
A video of the lorry showing the damage the accident had caused was shared on Facebook.
One person commented: “Oh for goodness sake! What's wrong with these drivers? Can't they read?”
Others said the motorist should have their licence taken away, while others defended them, saying they were probably relying heavily on a sat-nav.
Some also suggested the restrictions should be changed to a height barrier.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 9.20pm on Tuesday, January 14 to a report that a lorry had collided with barriers on Church Road, Murston in Sittingbourne and the road was blocked.
“Patrols and highways officers attended and the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered and debris was cleared.
“No injuries were reported and the road reopened at around 4.30am on Wednesday, January 15.”
