A van ended up embedded in the central reservation of the M2 after a crash this morning.

The smash happened on the London-bound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 5 and 6, the Faversham and Sittingbourne turn-offs.

As spokesman for Kent Police, said: "Kent Police was called at 8.30am to a report of a collision involving two vans, on the M2. One of the vehicles was blocking one lane of the motorway, but was moved to the hard shoulder shortly before 9am.

“No serious injuries have been reported.”
