Three vehicles including an HGV and a car crashed on the Maidstone-bound A249.

There were severe delays near the Stockbury Roundabout, junction 5 of the M2, after the A2 Key Street turn-off.

Witnesses say a car appeared to be badly damaged.

The accident happened at 11.30am and police and ambulance crews were called.

Three ambulances and one ambulance car attended and checked over those involved.

Only minor injuries were sustained.
