A man in his 60s has been rushed to hospital after collapsing in a road and hitting his head.
Police, ambulance and Kent Air Ambulance were called to Saffron Way near the Trinity Trading Estate, in Sittingbourne, at 10.54am following the incident.
The road was closed to traffic while emergency services dealt with the man and it remains taped off.
Although the air ambulance was called it didn’t land and the man was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by land ambulance for treatment.
It is understood no vehicles were involved, the man collapsed as he crossed the road.
His condition is not known.
