Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a car on the A2 at Bapchild.

The collision, involving a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec, happened at 11.27pm last night.

The car was travelling towards Sittingbourne and the man died at the scene.

Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the car or pedestrian beforehand, who have not yet spoken to police, or who have dash cam footage, should call 01622 798538 quoting reference MS/21/18.
