A man has been charged with a number of driving offences following a police chase through two towns.
The Renault Clio was tailed by police in the early hours through Sittingbourne and Faversham.
It was reported the car was stolen from a property in Station Road, Rainham just after 9.30pm on Friday.
The chase lasted 20 minutes before the Clio was driven over a stinger and turned into a dead end on Wildish Road in Faversham.
Officers from the Swale division were helped in the pursuit by teams from Kent Police Tactical Operations and the force's roads policing unit.
Billy Brazil, 30, from Barrow Grove, Sittingbourne, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and aggravated vehicle taking.
He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).
