NELSON Scamp, 21, of Saffron Way, Sittingbourne, has been charged with murdering Francis Foord, of Cherry Close, Sittingbourne.

Scamp appeared before Sittingbourne magistrates on Saturday and was remanded in custody until Friday. No application for bail was made.

Mr Foord was found just before midnight on Friday, March 19, in the town's Eastwood Road. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Medway Maritime Hospital.
