Hundreds of people enjoyed a Disney-themed party thanks to a children’s charity.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children, which has a site in Rook Lane, Bobbing, hosted the bash at Priestfield Football Stadium in Gillingham on February 15.
It had been planned as a New Year party last month, but had to be rescheduled following an outbreak of a sickness bug.
As well as music and dancing, youngsters enjoyed face-painting, a tombola, table quizzes, a penalty kick game put on by the Kent FA, arts and crafts and special guests Elsa and Anna from Frozen along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Food was served and all the youngsters received presents.
Medway-based Jade’s Street Dancers, who put on a display, were joined by Mickey Mouse for the macarena.
A competition for the best dressed boy and girl was won by Danny Holton and Tierney West.
Care team staff Taylor-Marie Anderson and Amy Blyth organised the annual do which was attended by about 240 people.
They said: “It’s been amazing fun putting it all together.
“Although there was lots of work to make it all happen, it has all been so worth it.
“Everyone had a fantastic time and we are already looking forward to making next year’s party even bigger and better.”
