Motorists are being warned of delays following two car crashes in the Sittingbourne area.
The first crash happened just after 3pm today on the Sittingbourne bound carriageway of the A249 just after the BP garage on Detling Hill.
Initial reports suggest three to five vehicles were involved in the accident and that the road is blocked. Ambulance crews were called to the scene to deal with non life-threatening injuries.
The second incident which involved two cars and two vans happened at the brow of Detling Hill just before 4pm. It is understood nobody was injured.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area to allow emergency services and recovery agents to deal with both incidents.
