A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a home in the early hours of this morning.

Officers attended the property, in Hurst Lane, Kemsley, near Sittingbourne, following a report received at 12.03am.

They found a 64-year-old woman dead at the scene.

A 66-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently at a London hospital, having also been found injured.

The two individuals were known to each other and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
