AN 18-year-old man was knocked unconscious by an unidentified attacker on his way home after a party.

The victim was in the car park of Tesco Express in Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne, when he was hit over the head from behind.

He was treated in Medway Maritime Hospital for a head injury.

The young man did not see his attackers but police say there is likely to have been witnesses in the area.
