Allotment gates were thrown open to visitors who helped raise more than £250 for good causes.
The plots, off Riddles Road, Sittingbourne were opened up in aid of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) on Sunday.
About 61 people took the opportunity to have a look around, although there was slim pickings on the produce stall, said John Thorne, who with wife Sue organised the event.
“We weren’t able to have as many items as previous years due to how the weather’s been,” he said.
“Any allotment holder will tell you the same thing - things are not as far forward as they should be.”
Despite the showers, John and Sue said they were pleased with how the day went and thanked all those who helped, in particular Gillian Chapman and Carol and Geoff Hymas.
A total of £284 will be donated to the NGS charities.
