An opening date has been revealed for a new Nando's restaurant.
The South African chain says its new branch in Sittingbourne will welcome its first diners in May.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesman said: "Attention PERi-PERi fans! This is not a drill! We interrupt your daily scrolling with some Extra Hot news!
"Nando's Sittingbourne will be hatching May 2020 and we can't wait to see you all there."
Yesterday, it also announced it was looking for a Nando's 'super fan' to cut the ribbon on the opening day.
The chosen 'super fan' would also win a free meal for them and two of their friends.
But, to be in with a chance of winning, people need to 'like', 'share' and 'tag' their friends in the Facebook post – and the closing date for doing so is at 9pm next Monday.
The dining giant first revealed it was coming to the town in May 2018 and would be part of the multi-million pound Spirit of Sittingbourne regeneration project.
It will be on the new Bourne Place leisure quarter, opposite the railway station, along with Pizza Express, Creams, Loungers, an eight-screen Light cinema and a 63-bed Travelodge hotel.
Plans submitted to Swale council towards the end of last year showed that Nando’s would be in unit four, underneath the cinema, would have bi-folding doors and seating inside and out.
